Dino Crisis[a] is a survival horror and action-adventure video game series created by Shinji Mikami and developed and published by Capcom. The plot focuses on recurring outbreaks of deadly dinosaurs in closed environments, such as a laboratory on an island. The series also includes comic books and merchandise. As of December 31, 2019, the game series has sold 4.4 million units worldwide.[1]

After the events of the previous game, unsafe research into time-distorting Third Energy has resulted in an entire research base, military institution, and fictional metropolis of Edward City to be transported to another time; along with all of its inhabitants. Secret Operations Raid Team operative Regina returns as one of the main playable characters, sent along as an adviser to the rescue team that travels through time to find survivors of the time displacement and recover data on the Third Energy experiments. Dylan Morton, the rescue team leader, is the second playable character. Despite Dylan and Regina initially going their separate ways, they end up joining forces to find a way back to the present. The player switches between controlling Regina and Dylan at specific points during the story.

Dino Stalker a light gun shooter and the third installment in the Gun Survivor series by Capcom and contains characters from Dino Crisis 2. The Gun Survivor series is a spin-off series to the main Resident Evil series, however, Dino Stalker is the only game in the series with ties to Dino Crisis instead.

For several years fans have been asking for a new installment in the Dino Crisis series.[10] In 2014, rumors began circulating that Capcom had begun development on Dino Crisis 4.[11][12][13] Tao Weishi (the producer of Monster Hunter Online) was interested in working with Capcom on a revival of the Dino Crisis series. Bocanegra stated: "It would certainly be nice to get a Dino Crisis revival. And Capcom could potentially start by remastering the original game, which would fall in line nicely with their current strategy when it comes to remasters".[14][15] Shinji Mikami has also stated that he has long held ideas for a new game in the series.[16]

Exoprimal, the highly anticipated online shooter from Capcom, is officially going to be a day one release for Xbox Game Pass when it releases later this year. With an official release date of July 14, Xbox Game Pass holders who are eager to play the dinosaur-fueled shooter won't have to wait to experience Exoprimal's action on release day.

Earlier today, Capcom revealed updates on several anticipated titles, but one of the most exciting pieces of news dealt with fresh information surrounding the developer's third-person shooter Exoprimal. When an AI known as Leviathan begins spawning dinosaurs into the world, exosuit-wearing heroes must compete against one another and destroy the dinosaurs. Players can choose from classes like Assault, Tank, and Support while competing online with other players from around the world. The concept behind the game is an original take on a genre that has become increasingly popular, bringing a new type of online shooter to the mix.

Although the release date for Exoprimal leaked ahead of Capcom's event, there was no information on whether the game would be a day one release for the Xbox Game Pass. Fortunately, Xbox Game Pass holders will definitely be able to access the game on July 14 along with other players. A new trailer for the game revealed release details at the end of the footage, reassuring those anticipating the game that Xbox Game Pass will be included in the release date.

The game is currently available for pre-order, which includes bonus in-game items. Despite there being numerous Exoprimal trailers released in the past, this new trailer is the most extensive update curious gamers have received from Capcom. From the looks of the trailer, Xbox Game Pass holders who jump into the game on day one can expect a heaping amount of dinosaur action to enjoy with other players. Not only was there a glimpse of some awesome action, but a variety of exosuits were put on display, giving those who are eager a small taste of what there is to look forward to.

Even though Exoprimal won't be released for a few more months, the countdown is officially on. For gamers who are anticipating a new and unique action game, the ability for all players to access the title on release day will make Exoprimal's launch even more enjoyable. One of the best parts of subscribing to Xbox Game Pass is the day one releases, thanks to being able to play new games for a bargain, and Exoprimal is definitely one for subscribers to look forward to.

Lauren Beeler-Beistad is a writer and musician based in Nashville, TN under LB Beistad. Her love of gaming began with her cousin introducing her to Banjo Kazooie and Jak and Daxter. It was love at first play. Since then she has grown a love specifically for narrative driven games and platformers.

Several years ago, Google added a fun little Easter egg to Chrome: if your internet went down and you tried to visit a web page, you'd see the message "Unable to connect to the Internet" or "No internet" with a little pixilated dinosaur next to it.

This little Easter egg has become a beloved game. But what if you just want to play it (careful, it's addictive) when you're online and need a break? In this article, you'll learn how to play the game when you're both off and online.

Simply press the space bar (or up arrow) and the dino will start running. Press the up arrow to jump over the obstacles (like cacti) in your path. The longer you hold the up arrow, the higher dino will jump.

The longer you play, the faster dino runs/the ground moves. Once you crash into something, the game is over and you have to restart (your score resets, too). You can play again by hitting the space bar.
