Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayi (English: I Remember Your Story Again) is a 1993 Hindi drama film directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Jonny Bakshi. Plot

The film revolves around Rahul (Rahul Roy), an alcoholic and depressed movie director who ends up in a rehabilitation centre after a suicide attempt. She is admitted to the centre by her brother Rohit (Avtar Gill), who is a doctor and cares for her deeply. Rahul and Pooja develop a friendship that soon turns into love. However, Pooja's condition worsens and she becomes more delusional and violent. She accuses Rahul of cheating on her with his actress Seema (Pooja Bedi) and tries to kill him. Rahul realizes that Pooja needs professional help and convinces Rohit to send her to a mental asylum. There, Pooja undergoes electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and loses her memory of Rahul. She also develops a bond with another patient, Ravi (Javed Khan), who claims to be her husband. Rahul visits her regularly but she does not recognize him. He tries to remind her of their love but fails. One day, he receives a phone call from Pooja, who tells him that she remembers everything and wants to see him. He rushes to the asylum but finds out that there has been a fire and Pooja has died in it. He is shattered by her death and is unable to forget her. He starts hearing her voice and seeing her everywhere. He becomes obsessed with her memories and loses his sanity.
